Why ACTUALLY Youth Work is Good?

The project Why Youth Work is Good is coming to an end. What it leaves behind?
Young people are the future of each country and also of the European Union and the World. The future prosperity depends on how they are prepared not only academically but also socially.

WYWisG

During the project, each of the partners from six countries participating in the project proved to have its own structure, priorities, approach to problems and their solution, united by the big goal - support of young people. In order to achieve this goal, the concept of a youth worker emerges, the definition of which seems to have been concretized only in recent years - both as a profession and as duties and as requirements. You can read in detail about the similarities and differences in different countries HERE, where the research findings for each country are gathered.
Despite organizational problems in some of the partner countries facing economic transitions over the years or the financial crisis several years ago, the initiative of young people is remarkable. In the WORKBOOK you can find examples of good practices for youth activities in a wide variety of areas of life - economic, environmental, social, cultural, volunteering, mobility and more. In the context of improving legislative, educational and organizational changes, the role of youth workers will become increasingly important. They will have the necessary skills and knowledge for guidance, the right information so needed by young people in a dynamically changing world. We believe that the results of the project applied above, as well as the videos made (see the links below):
