Name: Exploring science and transdisciplinary learning through forensics
The project aims at developing and implementing innovative practices, tools and methodologies in schools, enhancing the quality and relevance of the learning offer in education, more specifically regarding the attractiveness of science-related subjects.
By fostering the attractiveness of science-related subjects through exciting activities connected to the “CSI Theme” and by engaging teachers and pupils of different ages in a project held at international level, EU4SCI will contribute to decrease early school dropout and integrate pupils and teachers in a more motivating school environment.
The project is about making learning more exciting in European schools, using examples from the forensic sciences to develop activities across subject areas.
Using recreations of crimes scenes like those in famous TV series like CSI, Elementary and NCIS, we have created materials for teachers and students, to engage students and develop learning in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and other subjects.

Teachers will be able to educate and inspire the students in the principles of scientific inquiry, analysis and creative thinking.
- The CSI week - a 1-week short term joint staff training event with a series of initiatives and activities to be carried out in European High Schools and support materials that will allow these activities to be replicated in several other schools across the EU.
