After 2 years of hard and fruitful work, we are happy to present you the final versions of the products created within the “Entrepreneurship is the key to success” project! The EKS project aims to develop a tool for improvement of the 5 vital skills required for future jobs: complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management and coordination with others and to support disvantaged young adults in acquiring entrepreneurial competences and to build entrepreneurial mind-set.

Here is a short overview of the main products we developed during the past 2 years:

Know and Can Association organized the Bulgarian multiplier event in the frame of EKS project on 9th September 2021 in Ramada by Wyndham Sofia City Center, shortly after the pilot versions of the simulation game and didactic handbook and products were finalized and piloted. The event was organized in real environment, respecting all antiepidemic government measures currently in force. Due to the high interest in the event and the restrictions on the number of people attending face to face gatherings, the participants were divided into two smaller groups.

Thankfully the COVID-19 situation permitted the final EKS project partners meeting to go forward physically. All partners were very happy and satisfied to be meeting after two years of mutual work which primarily consisted of online meetings solely. During the meeting, all COVID safety measures were diligently followed up. Thanks to our Italian project partners - LABC, the meeting was concluded in a smooth and successful way for all participants.

EKS logoWith the onset of the hot summer months came the long-awaited launch of the game for developing entrepreneurial skills, created within the project "Entrepreneurship is the key to success"! We are very pleased to announce that the demo version of the game is now available in English and Bulgarian and we invite you to become part of its improvement and finalization!

EKS logoOn March 18, 2021, Know and Can Association took part in an online partnership meeting within the EKS project - Entrepreneurship is the key to success. According to the original plan, the event was planned to take place in sunny Valencia, but the continuing complicated international situation unfortunately thwarted the plans of the partners.
Thanks to the active participation and professionalism of all partners, the progress of the project was discussed in detail during the meeting, as well as the following steps for the consortium were discussed in detail:

EKS logoAlongside the intensive work on finalizing the beta version of the simulation game, the EKS project partners are almost ready with the development of the second project product – the EKS Didactic Handbook. While frequently the content of some training materials, curriculums and textbooks could be perceived as dry and old-fashioned, the EKS Handbook creates quite the opposite feeling!

It is an attractive, appealing and useful educational tool for both learners and trainers which main aim is to support and improve their experience in using the game during the entrepreneurship learning process. On one hand, it will help the players to dive deeper in the world of entrepreneurial skills and their importance and on another – it will familiarize the adult trainers with the gamification as a didactic tool and will support them in applying the game in individual or group settings.
