STEM by STEM is an innovative project aimed at revolutionising STEM education. Our mission is to create an interactive toolkit and comprehensive guidance to spark student interest in STEM subjects and increase their scientific literacy. Taking into account school curricula and the needs of teachers, our resources will provide ready-to-implement STEM lessons, encouraging playful and flexible learning of students in both formal and informal educational environments. |

It has become clear over recent years that only science-aware citizens can make informed decisions and engage in dialogue on science-driven societal issues. “Knowledge of and about science are integral to preparing our population to be actively engaged and responsible citizens, creative and innovative, able to work collaboratively and fully aware of and conversant with the complex challenges facing society” (Science Education for Responsible Citizenship, EC, 2018)
