On February 6 and 7, 2020, the first ALTER - Alternative Safety Net meeting was held in Athens.
The dynamics of modern life have forced many people to interrupt their education at different stages. The reasons can be many and varied and are the subject of study in the initial phase of the project, which aims not only to combat the consequences but also to advise on the prevention in formal education. And the consequences can be summed up in the absence of basic knowledge and skills with subsequent difficult realization on the labor market, social exclusion low self esteem depression.
The third project training event was held in Barcelona, Spain in January 28-30, 2020. It was organized by Meet and Map and 2 participants from each partner organization attended the training. The host organization organized a 3-day event which included presentation of organization and its work in regards to seniors in general and seniors and ICT in particular.
PARENTBANK – ‘Enhancing the social inclusion of low income single parents’ is an Erasmus + Strategic Partnerships in Adult Education project, financed by the European Commission through A.N.P.C.D.E.F.P. It has a duration of 2 years (2019-2021) – Project Number: 2019-1-RO01-KA204-063798.
This new European initiative aims at facilitating the labor market integration of low-income single-parents, by promoting their access to childcare and other services that they may be unable to afford.
