Between the 25-th and 28-th of March 2014 the first national workshop under project "Future stands in youth hands" took place. It happened at the territory of 2-nd school "Acad. Emillian Stanev". Students from the First English Language School and Second English Language School "Thomas Jefferson" participated in it.
The project is implemented together with organisations from Brasil, Portugal, Cape Verde and Sao Tome and Principe.
The aim of the project is through the conduction of international and national training workshops young people to be introduced to new social and professional opportunities, which create conditions for the the increase of youth employment. The topics that will be discussed at the international workshops afterwards will be presented at the national seminars. They will be as follows:
1. Creation of a Youth association
2. Social and cultural encouragement
3. Combining handicrafts with business as a sustainable method for finding employment and subsitence
4. Combining food production with business as a sustainable method for finding employment and subsitence
The project "Future stands in youth hands" is financed under the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, sub-action 3.2 Cooperation with countries other than the neighboring countries of the European Union.
