Sub-Action 4.3 - Training and networking of those active in youth work and youth organizations
The project “Forum friends” envisages a training course for volunteers for forum theatre trainers from 9 organizations from Turkey, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Germany, Croatia, France and Bulgaria and taking place in Bulgaria.
The project aims within 8 days 29 volunteers to achieve new knowledge on forum theatre, to improve their social, artistic and creative competencies transferring good practices, experience and ideas in the field of youth activities and youth work, especially with youths with problems, which could put them in social isolation and urge them to risk behaviour.
The main objectives of the training course are the participants to gain new knowledge and skills in order to raise the quality and verify their work and capacity of their organizations, to exchange good practices, knowledge and experience in the sphere of volunteer work with youths in risk, as well as to develop new Youth in Action projects with a focus on social inclusion of youths in risk.
Different working methods of non-formal education will be applied: interactive role games, simulations, analysis of real stories, discussions and looking for decisions, workshops, presentations, work in small groups. Young people will have the opportunity to work out forum theatre presentations on real stories and to present and share their experience, values, believes and expectations.
