🌍📢 Important Press Release from the GreenGenerations Project! 📢🌿

Exciting news! 🎉 As part of the 17th ICERI: International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation, Eutopique and its partners have published an insightful paper on tackling climate change through intergenerational learning. 🏫🔬🌱

This European study, conducted under the Erasmus+ GreenGenerations project (2022-1-FR01-KA220-SCH-000085830), examines the challenges and opportunities of integrating climate education into school curricula using an intergenerational approach. With input from 34 teachers across France, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Romania, the research identifies key gaps in teacher training, curriculum limitations, and the need for community involvement. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫💡

🔹 Key findings:
✅ Climate change education is widely recognized as essential but is still poorly integrated into school programs.
✅ Teachers lack training and resources to effectively incorporate climate topics into their lessons.
✅ An intergenerational approach—connecting students with older generations—could enhance learning, build awareness, and strengthen community ties.

🌱✨ By fostering collaborations between schools, families, and local communities, the GreenGenerations project aims to equip teachers with tools, training, and innovative educational resources to promote sustainable thinking and action among the younger generations! 💚♻️

🚀 Stay tuned for more updates and follow our journey towards a greener future! 🌎💪
