    projectslogo.emotionName: Comprehensive methodology for teaching and development of 4Cs in school education using gamification and experiential learning (facilitation of the game experience within the educational process)

    The project aims to develop a comprehensive methodology and tools for the development of 4 important competencies (4Cs) - critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration that will be forwarded from teachers to students (also reaching out their parents and families) in an innovative manner - in gamified way notably complemented with teacher being the facilitator of the whole process of transferring competencies, and support improvement information and media literacy through that. The project will be implemented through following main activities: Creation of the 4C - Future Methodology based on the research conducted in the project countries and feedback of the teachers; Creation of the Toolset and Guide; Development of the Online Platform for training of teachers; Pilot training of the teachers;

    PROSPER aspires to offer a transdisciplinary educational Programme based on the gamified blended learning course “Tackling real-world challenges through Social Entrepreneurship” and the teachers’ PROSPER educational toolkit that would be facilitated and complemented by the PROSPER platform for Social Entrepreneurship Education. PROSPER educational programme will be supported by the following educational approaches:

    • Game-based learning: building upon the strong potential of gamification approaches to create value and impact on people’s behavior, PROSPER aspires to bring students from any discipline closer to their communities and empower them to create their own sustainable solutions

    • Service-learning: drawing upon the several studies that identify service-learning as a suitable approach to teach Social Entrepreneurship, our project aims to utilize service-learning to offer actual and real-world learning experiences facilitated by short-term placements in social enterprises.

    Тhe motivation for SABE is grounded in the critical need to address the evolving and multifaceted nature of bullying in European schools. By adopting a holistic approach that combines innovative gamification strategies with collaborative efforts among educational institutions, the project aims to effectively mitigate the impacts of bullying and foster safer, more inclusive learning environments.

    Objectives:

    • to develop an innovative, comprehensive approach to bullying prevention in schools, encompassing the creation of an interactive gamified learning platform, teacher training programs, and the integration of modern technology;
    • to enhance the understanding, dialogue, and effective implementation of anti-bullying strategies among various stakeholders, including students, educators, and community members.
       
    • Curriculum development for teachers and Teacher Training Workshops: A comprehensive training curriculum for teachers developed using findings from the literature review and focus groups. This report will highlight the unique challenges and needs in different school environments regarding bullying.
    • Creation of Bullying Scenarios & Pilots within schools: These scenarios will be created by each partner, focusing on various forms of bullying, from name-calling to cyberbullying. The aim is to promote empathy, inclusion, and active response to bullying incidents among students.
    • Gamified Scenarios Development and Testing: A detailed game design document outlining the adaptation of the bullying scenarios into interactive gamified versions. The interactive game will be designed to be user-friendly and will include different characters and levels of difficulty catering to various age groups.
