On June 13th and 14th the second partner meeting under project ROBIN (“Reinforcing  cOmpetences to Build Inclusion through a New learning methodology”, number: 2015-1-RO01-KA204-015001) was held in the office of Know and Can Association. Members from all of the five partner organizations Elvetia (Bucharest, Roamnia), die Berater (Wien, Austria); Know and Can Association (Sofia, Bulgaria), INTRAS (Valladolid, Spain) CSC Danilo Dolci (Palermo, Italy) took part in the meeting.

The main aim of the meeting were the discussions about the work on intellectual products 1 and 2: a research study on the current methodologies used within second chance programmes for children immigrants (including children of families who came back from abroad, foreigners, studying in Bulgaria, refugees, children from minorities, children at risk, etc.) and an analysis on the needs of the specialists working with these children.

The analysis was made with the use of online questionnaires and focus groups made by each one of the members of the partner organizations on a national level among specialists working on second chance programmes. The detailed questionnaires were made especially for the purposes of the project and were distributed online.

In order comparable results to be provided, the national focus groups were made according to agreements and requirements which were prearranged and agreed beforehand by the partners. Each partner had to collect at least 50 filled questionnaires and to make focus groups with at least 10 specialists and combine the results in a national report. The project coordinator Fundatia Terre des hommes Elvetia will analyze all of the national reports and incorporate the gained data in a common report. This report will be used as a basis for making the next intellectual product: an innovative educational methodology which can be used by educators who work with children from marginal groups in the partner countries.
