PAIR European Project will develop and promote a physical activity protocol for people operated of total hip or total knee replacement. The overall project goal is to promote at European level shared knowledge, methods and approaches to support patients to regain functioning, optimal physical activity and participation in social and vocational domains after total hip or total knee replacement. Adequate physical activity provides many benefits, including improved physical functions, reduced risk of falling, reduced risk of death, improved cognitive functions, independent living and active participation in the social and economic life of the community. |
